ごみごみ

難(なん)民(みん)がごみごみした裏(うら)町(まち)に住(す)んでいました。

長(なが)年(ねん)の間(あいだ)、私(わたし)は美(び)だけが人(じん)生(せい)に意(い)義(ぎ)を与(あた)えてくれるものであり、このごみごみした地(ち)上(じょう)で次(つぎ)々(つぎ)と引(ひ)き継(つ)がれる世(せ)代(だい)に課(か)せられる唯(ゆい)一(いつ)の目(もく)的(てき)とは、時(とき)々(どき)芸(げい)術(じゅつ)家(か)を生(う)み出(だ)すことだと思(おも)っていた。

• This city may be a little run-down, but the people living here are all kind, and will welcome anyone with open arms.
